I recently stayed at Chapel House for a few nights while visiting family. The location was ideal, right in the heart of the market place and close to the Abbey. The hotel had a peaceful and calm atmosphere, with comfortable rooms that included both a bath and a shower. The Victorian/Edwardian decor was top quality and filled with interesting pieces. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food - the chef's talent was evident in the delicious meals that were beautifully presented. The staff provided friendly and attentive service, making my experience truly enjoyable.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Location so close to restaurant, the center of Atherstone and the garden area with late drinks plus jam and toast. Excellent breakfast with home made marmelade which is also for sale and marvellous location.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of the market place and close to all the socializing spots. The rooms were decent, with comfortable beds and well-functioning showers. The breakfast served was good, with a variety of options to choose from.
One negative aspect of the stay was the constant tolling of the chapel bell every half an hour, starting early in the morning and continuing late into the evening. This may be problematic for light sleepers like myself.
